As spring brings warmth, it is the perfect time for tree planting. On the occasion of the 48th National Tree Planting Day, and in order to put into practice the ecological philosophy that lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets, while also promoting the spirit of Lei Feng and volunteerism, Tianzhushan UNESCO Global Geopark organized a voluntary tree-planting activity in the museum square on March 12, Tree Planting Day.

At the activity site, participants were divided into several groups and worked together in an organized and standardized manner. They dug holes, positioned saplings, filled in soil, firmed the ground, watered the trees, and secured the roots, handling every step carefully and methodically. Everyone strictly ensured planting quality, striving to make every tree planted survive and grow well. After more than an hour of hard work, rows of newly planted trees had taken root neatly in the museum square.

This activity was a vivid example of Tianzhushan UNESCO Global Geopark’s commitment to ecological protection. It not only beautified the museum area, but also strengthened team cohesion and social responsibility, fully demonstrating the geopark’s public commitment to protecting nature and serving society.
