Recently, the fourth stop of the “Challenge Cup” Anhui Provincial College Students’ Entrepreneurship Plan Competition — Tianzhushan Cultural Tourism Innovation and Creativity Program campus tour was held in full swing at Anhui Xinhua University. As another important event in the Tianzhushan University Tour series, this activity was hosted by the Communist Youth League of Anhui Provincial Committee and the Anhui Students’ Federation, and organized by Anhui Tianzhushan Tourism Development Co., Ltd. Centered on the theme “Reach the Summit of Tianzhu, Paint a Chapter of Youth,” the event created a lively and enthusiastic atmosphere, attracting strong participation from teachers and students alike.

At the venue, a large screen continuously played Tianzhushan promotional videos and competition introductions, vividly presenting the mountain’s magnificent scenery and profound cultural heritage.
Indoor display boards highlighted the geological wonders of Tianzhushan UNESCO Global Geopark, the thousand-year literary legacy of the cliff inscriptions at Valley Spring Cultural Park, and the region’s rich intangible cultural and folk traditions.
Outside, the interactive game area proved especially popular, where students experienced the warmth and craftsmanship of traditional techniques through hands-on intangible heritage activities.
A fun lucky-draw session also added to the excitement, with laughter filling the campus as Tianzhushan’s cultural tourism charm quietly took root among students.

This special competition features two carefully designed tracks.
The cultural and creative IP design track encourages participants to develop distinctive tourism IP images and related derivative systems centered on Tianzhushan’s core cultural tourism elements.
The short-video creation track invites young people to use the language of the camera to present Tianzhushan’s natural beauty — its grandeur, wonder, spirit, and elegance — together with the humanistic charm of ancient Wan culture.

Notably, the event especially encourages participating teams to carry out field visits to Tianzhushan Scenic Area and Valley Spring Cultural Park.
Among Tianzhushan’s extraordinary peaks and beautiful waters, students can trace the cultural roots of Anhui, draw inspiration from the more than 400 cliff inscriptions left by famous historical figures such as Wang Anshi and Huang Tingjian, and experience fascinating intangible heritage techniques at the Tianzhushan Study Travel Base.
This kind of immersive creative model enables young students to collect material through travel and spark ideas through direct experience.

This stop of the event not only gave teachers and students of Xinhua University a valuable chance to experience Tianzhushan’s cultural tourism resources up close, but also built a platform where university education and cultural tourism industry practice could connect more deeply through creative competition.
The University Tour series will continue, with six more exciting campus events set to enter additional universities in the future.
