As a key strategic cultural tourism project in Qianshan and a core benchmark project of Huaiyuan culture, the immersive waterborne night-tour performance Touring the Lake, Playing with Dreams · Xiao Qiao’s First Marriage will soon hold its press conference and launch ceremony at Xuehu Park in grand style. The project will help fill the gap in Tianzhushan’s daytime mountain tourism and nighttime activities, officially opening a new urban cultural tourism experience: “Climb Tianzhu by day, tour Xuehu by night.”
Built on the rich cultural heritage of Qianshan as the hometown of the Two Qiaos, the project takes advantage of Xuehu’s natural lake scenery to create a real-water stage, blending youthful Huangmei opera with modern musical theater. Through six complete acts, it tells the thousand-year love story of Zhou Yu and Xiao Qiao. The production uses audio-visual and lighting technologies to make the lake and mountains the backdrop and the water surface the stage, creating a new immersive model for waterborne night tourism performance.
