2026-06-14Recently, the campus promotion event for the “Challenge Cup” Tianzhushan Cultural Tourism Innovation and Creativity Program was successfully held at Hefei University.
With the theme “Reach the Summit of Tianzhu, Paint a Chapter of Youth,” the event brought the magnificent scenery and profound cultural heritage of Tianzhushan onto the university campus, attracting enthusiastic participation from many teachers and students.
The atmosphere was lively throughout, as youthful creativity met mountain landscapes and cultural charm in a vibrant exchange.

On the day of the event, the South Square of Hefei University was transformed into a creative exhibition space for Tianzhushan cultural tourism.
A large themed backdrop stood prominently on site, showcasing Tianzhushan’s visual identity and brand image, and drawing many students to stop, take photos, and check in.
Inside Lecture Hall 206 in the North Building of the Indoor Activity Center, large screens continuously played competition introductions and scenic area promotional videos.
Six display boards were arranged in sequence, and students could scan QR codes to follow Tianzhushan’s official Douyin account, video channel, and public account, making it easy to access the latest scenic area information and creative materials.

The most popular area among students was the interactive game zone.
The pitch-pot game attracted a constant crowd, with the pots decorated with images of Tianzhushan’s signature scenic spots. Different distances corresponded to different prizes, allowing students to win scenic area tickets, customized gifts, and other rewards.
The intangible cultural heritage experience zone was equally popular, where students, guided by volunteers, tried hands-on activities with traditional cultural tools and experienced the distinctive charm of Tianzhushan’s regional culture.
The big-screen interactive lucky draw pushed the atmosphere to an even higher level, filling the venue with laughter and excitement.
“One of my previous impressions of Tianzhushan was simply that it is a beautiful mountain,” said one student who was preparing for the short-video competition track.
“After taking part in today’s event, I realized that it also has such rich intangible cultural heritage and so much creative material to explore.”
The student added that a filming script had already taken shape, and they planned to use the camera to tell a youthful story about Tianzhushan.

This event not only gave participating teams a valuable opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of Tianzhushan’s cultural tourism elements, but also, through immersive interactive experiences, turned university students into communicators and re-creators of Tianzhushan culture.
The two competition tracks — cultural and creative IP design and short-video production — encourage students to explore the communicative value of Tianzhushan through visual symbols and digital content.
In this way, the program truly achieved the positive effect of “bringing the scenic area onto campus and letting creativity grow beyond campus.”

With youth as the pen and the mountains as the canvas, Tianzhushan is embracing young creativity with an ever more open attitude.
At the same time, university students are writing their own chapter of youth through this mutual journey of cultural tourism and creative innovation.
