Dear residents of Qianshan,

The Tianzhushan Longtanhe Cableway is scheduled to begin operation on March 27, 2025. In order to implement Qianshan City’s key public welfare initiative of providing six months of free access to the Longtanhe Cableway for Qianshan residents, and in light of the actual circumstances of the scenic area, the relevant arrangements are hereby announced as follows:

1. Eligible groups

Residents with Qianshan household registration or a Qianshan resident ID card, outside investors, and non-Qianshan-registered individuals working in Qianshan.

2. Free-access period

From April 1, 2025 to September 30, 2025.

3. Scope of free access

The free-access policy applies only to the Tianzhushan Longtanhe Cableway, including both uphill and downhill rides.

Special note: The Tianzhushan Dalongwo Cableway, Muyanghe Cableway, and other paid items in the scenic area are not included in the free-access policy and must be purchased separately if needed.

4. How it works

1. Real-name reservation: Eligible visitors must make a real-name reservation through platforms such as the “Anhui Tianzhushan” WeChat official account or the “One Mobile Phone Tour Qianshan” WeChat mini program. After a successful reservation, residents with Qianshan household registration or a Qianshan resident ID card may enjoy the free-access policy by presenting valid identification. Outside investors and non-Qianshan-registered individuals working in Qianshan may enjoy the policy by presenting the “Free Admission Card” issued by the Tianzhushan Administrative Committee.

2. Purchase of visitor accident insurance: Taking the cableway is regarded as entering Tianzhushan Scenic Area for a visit. According to the Interim Measures for Free Access to Tianzhushan Scenic Area for Qianshan Residents issued by the Qianshan municipal government, after making a successful reservation, eligible Qianshan residents who enter the scenic area free of charge must purchase visitor accident insurance at the main service desk of Longtanhe Visitor Center at a cost of 5 yuan per person. They may then verify their identity with their ID card and facial recognition to enter the scenic area and ride the Longtanhe Cableway free of charge.

5. Notes

1. Eligible visitors must comply with scenic area management rules and visit in a civilized manner.

2. Persons suffering from hypertension, heart disease, acrophobia, infectious diseases, or mental illness, as well as those who are heavily intoxicated, and elderly people or children without proper accompaniment, are not permitted to take the cableway.

3. To ensure a safe, orderly, and comfortable visiting environment, better serve out-of-town tourists, and encourage local residents to act as gracious hosts, the scenic area adopts a management model of “reservation, limited numbers, staggered visits, and orderly access.” Free access to the Longtanhe Cableway for Qianshan residents is limited to 3,000 people per day. During peak tourism periods such as the May Day holiday and weekends, advance reservation is essential, and Qianshan residents are encouraged to travel during off-peak times.

4. In the event of extreme weather, such as thunderstorms or strong winds, or equipment maintenance, the cableway will suspend operation. Please pay close attention to official scenic area announcements.
